Misty Brum - Maid of Honor

I met Misty in kindergarten. Since then we've gone through all of school and college together. She is my oldest friend and probably the closest person I have to a sister! She is currently studying for a master's degree in business and hospitality.

Annette Van Straten

Annie is my second oldest friend (I've only known her since 2nd grade)! During that time we braved many piano lessons and drama plays together! She's also a middle school music teacher, so it's safe to say she's a lot of fun (and a little bit crazy!)

Sarah Leeman

Sarah was my roommate at college and my kindred spirit during my study abroad in Europe. I don't know many people I could have endured four months, 24/7 with and still be friends afterwards! Sarah is a librarian at Argonne Laboratories.

Whitney Bratton

Whitney is Art's middle sister, and the next bride-to-be! She is currently living in L.A. with her fiancé, Daniel, after getting her masters from USC. She is a talented creative writer and just finished writing the text of her first young adult novel.

Susan Bratton

Susan is Art's youngest sister and is graduating from Butler University in May. She's a music administration major and plays a mean trombone. She also studied abroad for a year in Paris, ooh la la!

Adam Mielke - Best Man

I met Adam during freshman orientation at Ripon College and we have been hanging out ever since. When we weren't getting into shenanigans like rollerblading into cars *cough* Adam, we were playing ultimate frisbee where we met Misty and her cute friend Emily.

Minhwan Kim

Min is my Korean brother from another mother.  After meeting Min Freshman year we spent more than one evening jamming out in the lounges around Scott hall.  When Min met Emily he knew that she was right for me and gave me the push I needed to ask her out.

Karl Griffiths

Karl, or my redheaded doppelgänger, was my suite-mate Junior and Senior year.  Both of us are pretty nerdy so we spent a lot of time wiring tech creations or building computers. Someday I expect to see a Karl-gadget in Make magazine. 

Adam Hetz

Adam was my roomie sophomore year and is one of the happiest guys I know.  We have had some fun adventures over the years and I hope we have many more.  Adam is a dermatologist and currently lives in MN with his wife Sarah and his son Aaron.

Alex Hoffman

Alex is Emily's younger brother and he is graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in May with a degree in graphic design.  He is a fun guy to play video games with or to do time-trials against in the go-cart!
